It’s been quite some time since I posted, settling into the new life in the UK has taken a lot out of both of us. We have had quite an ordeal with learning the city, finding an apartment, getting into an apartment and furnishing it. We were (un?)fortunate enough to get a very nice flat that was not furnished, meaning we could get the furniture we wanted and take it with us or sell it off when we leave.
This will be a shorter post and lay out the new topics that I want to share with you all, they include the following:
- Our process of getting a flat in the UK.
- Furnishing the flat with the help of a company in Seven Sisters.
- Setting up utilities, and all of the other things that go with a new apartment.
- Learning the city and the area around Bow Quarter.
- Transportation in London and all of the headaches it involves.
- Working in Canary Wharf (mostly the commute and a little about the office ‘amenities’).
- The state of bodybuilding in the UK and my trip to Reading on July 11th.
- My goals for an Imperial College MBA and what the next steps are.
There will probably be more topics but for now, let me leave you with a picture of the view from my seat on a train to Reading which was stuck for over an hour due to a downed power cable damaging the front engine. (More to come on that, see #7).

People in all countries take the loans in various creditors, just because that is easy.
